The PC2 classified corridor is linked to the two PC2 laboratories. One of the two PC2 laboratories also has a PC2 animal holding room and a cull room attached to it. The animal room has a direct access port to allow samples to be transferred directly into the laboratory without the need to leave the animal facility.
Both laboratories have a BS48 Techniplast biosafety cabinet (Class 2). Both laboratories are also fitted with LPG and carbon dioxide. There is bench space for 4-6 researchers and the laboratories are able to be customised to meet specific experimental needs.
