Super SmartFeed
The Super SmartFeed has a 3.4m3 feed bin and four individual feed stations, each with an RFID reader, head position sensor, and feed dish on load cells. It can dispense up to four supplement types into separate feeding stalls when used as a precision individual supplement feeder, but can also be set to feed a single diet and to feed ad lib. The dispense rate for each individual animal can be adjustable and variable.
It can be used for dry grains, pellets, grain-based by-products and low-density feedstuffs, but is not sutable for silages, wet by-products or long-stem hay. For supplementation on pasture, the Super SmartFeed unit can serve about 100 animals.
The unit sits on a standard towable trailer and can be set up in-pasture, with solar and celluar connectivity. Data is recorded and reported in real-time through an online interface which can be accessed on desktop or a mobile device.
